vMix Audio Device Missing

It seems that the vMix Audio Device is missing. How can i reinstall it? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling vMix rebooting after each time. I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

I noticed it was missing when I tried to live stream. It was working a day ago. You can see the error below.


Wed May 15 2013 18:59:33 : Selected video input device: vMix Video
Wed May 15 2013 18:59:33 : Selected audio input device: vMix Audio
Wed May 15 2013 18:59:33 : Error connecting audio monitor filter.
Wed May 15 2013 18:59:33 : Error: Problem with audio capture device. Please ver
fy that the audio capture device is working correctly and is not already in use

Wed May 15 2013 18:59:33 : Closing Application.

The device is not in use. It's not listed in the device manager or in audio devices.

Any help would be great!!

Hi,

This might happen if the audio format settings have been changed in vMix.
Go to vMix Settings and under the Audio tab make sure Bit Rate is changed back to 16 bit.

Hi Martin,

I did change it and change it back! Same issue no matter what setting its on.

Anything else I can check or change?

I figured it out. I completely reset vMix by deleting the StudioCoast_Pty_Ltd folder in appdata.

It solved the issue.
