Hi!

I work at a place with offices in three cities and I'm looking for a way to bring in low latency video sources from the two other locations for simple multicam streams.
I'm quite sure I read somewhere a while ago that you could connect two versions of vMix and pipe several video feeds from one version to the other, but I can't find it now. Was I dreaming?
Any other good solutions for this? I like the idea of being able to have two or more sources from each location I can remotely control.

I guess I was dreaming, but I'm quite sure I saw a video or something of two video sources going from one vMix to a second vMix. Maybe it was just two ndi outputs from the first vMix set up on a local network.
Any other simple solutions for getting video from a remote location that require minimal knowledge and setup on the remote side? One option is to just use vMix Call of course, but I have very good bandwidth in both ends, and would like to take advantage of that more than vMix Call can(max 4Mbit?).

I just saw this in the Newtek Connect Spark user manual:


APPENDIX A: NDI|HX AND REMOTE PRODUCTION NDI™|HX can be used for remote production without any additional third party devices. The sole requirement is that the IP of the remote NDI|HX device is visible to the production system (which need not be on the same subnet). This can be achieved in a variety of ways. At present, NDI|HX a/v streams consume a maximum 10Mbit/s for 1080p60. However, all devices can be configured to lower bandwidth settings if you prefer (note that, when using NewTek products, bandwidth management will be particularly efficient). Because devices not on the local subnet cannot be automatically discovered, you must add individual devices manually. This can be achieved by manually editing a file in the following location ...


Has anyone tried this over large distances(between cities)?
