Hi guys, I have a few suggestions again.
1. Allow for smaller input size, or the ability to dial them up and down. 2. Make a global 'cut' (mouse click) option, and when chosen do away with the Preview box. Will save CPU too this way.

Right, but... The smallest size is still bigger than I would like it to be :-) The 'Mouse Click Option' has to be set in each input individually, I was suggesting a Global option that will turn it from 'Preview' to 'Cut' by default. Amnon

Note that there are other ways to see more inputs. A 1080p monitor rotated to portrait mode lets me see up to 40 inputs. vMix on portrait mode monitorA 4K display allows a vast number of things to be displayed.

Well, doesn't look like the "do away with the preview window" is shared by many, so here is what I did. Since all my profiles are laid out the same way, I just cut a piece of dark color paper the size of the preview window, and with the help of a string attached to its center and taped to the top bezel of the monitor, it can now be flipped over to hide the preview window when vMix is being used :-) Low tech, but makes things work better. I make sure I have no inputs that use "preview" too. Now the hosts that sit across the table can look at vMix and know who is on air for sure. Amnon

On a 4K monitor the largest Input Size (Settings > Display > Input Size) is actually very small at 400x300. There is room to make it at least 800 x 600 and still show 4 inputs. It would be nice to be even larger, such as 1920x1080.
In general it would be nice for the GUI to support 4K monitors. For now we've set the monitor to act like an HD monitor just so things are visible and readable. But of course that is wasting the value of the 4K monitor.

This is the 2nd post I've seen suggesting that preview monitor be got rid of or locked.
I don't know what anybodies career path is but if you ever want to work in proper broadcast you'll need to get used to the preview monitor.

I have been using Wirecast for quite a few years and got used to no preview window (configurable) since everything is "cut" so to speak. Amnon

But of course that is wasting the value of the 4K monitor. The GUI already "supports" 4K monitors. What you seem to mean is that you want the GUI elements to be more scalable. Taken to a potentially illogical conclusion, that's a bit like asking for an end-user programmable, even skin-able UI. Tons of work. Little real benefit to show for it. Might be inevitable as 4K monitors become more commonplace.
