Hello I use playlists .(m3u)
Vmix loops the last video in the playlist and does not go to the begging of the list .
Any ideas ?
Last Vmix - Windows 7 32bit - 4 GB ram - GT8500 Vga.

Hi,
Do you have the Loop button ticked (Green) for the List input? If so, what video and/or audio formats do you have in the m3u file?
I have just tested a list of videos and it correctly jumps back to the first in the list when the last item has finished playing.

Martin vMix

HEllo Yes the loop is checked. 80% are avi's and 20% mp4 (i have download the decoder for mp4)
The m3u have 100-150 videos each.
I use 2 or 3 Lists and in all it stacks in the last video.
Regards Michael

Any update ? Is there any way to get quick support ? We will use your software in a serious web tv and if this is the response time in problems probably is not the right product for us. We still have no reply in our email (25 april) to info@vmix.com.au A disappointed customer (not for the product but for the support) Regards javascript:__doPostBack('forum$ctl01$PostReply','')

Sam, have you tried keeping all the videos the same codec. I have experienced some mp4 files not working correctly. Recommend keep it simple, keep all video same format. IMHO I don't think Vmix is designed to do what you are doing. Although I am guilty of setting up a system for local government channel to do just that. The biggest difference is they only play a looping power point presentation when not transmitting their meetings so it's very simple setup.

This might seem like a dumb question but I have had a similar issue. Are any of your videos duplicates (i.e. same video played at a different slot or have the same filename)? My issue was that my first and my last videos (bumpers) were the same and thus when it reached the end it did not distinguish between the two and looped the end video, my solution was to rename the files... ***IN and ***OUT, worked fine after that.
Cool

Hi Michael,
Can you please double check you are running the latest version of vMix? I have tested with AVIs, MP4s and anything else I can think of on the latest version and I can't recreate the issue.
Apologies regarding the email, if we see a request posted to these forums and also to an email, we reply here for the benefit of all users.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Hi Michael,
As a process of elimination, could you try adding two different AVI files without loading them through an m3u file. Tick the Loop box on the input and see what happens?
I am trying to work out what part of the setup may be causing the issue.
If you have any other questions, post them here, I thought most of your questions from the email were posted in other threads or have already been answered, apologies if I am mistaken.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Hello Direct loading videos without m3u works fine . tested with avi's and mp4's .
I paste below one of the test m3u i used and loops the last video. Probably is something with the m3u structure. As i said all m3u are build with winamp.
#EXTM3U #EXTINF:250,Asia - Only Time Will Tell Videos\Asia - Only Time Will Tell.mp4 #EXTINF:213,Billy Ocean - European Quenn Videos\Billy Ocean - European Quenn.avi #EXTINF:289,Black - Wonderful Life Videos\Black - Wonderful Life.avi #EXTINF:270,Culture Club - Love is love Videos\Culture Club - Love is love.avi

Hi Michael,
I have created an m3u in WinAmp with multiple video files, loaded it in vMix and then ran it on a loop. So far no matter what I try I can't recreate your issue unfortunately.
Could you open the m3u and then send a screenshot of the right click menu on the input. It should show a list of the videos with one item ticked.
Regards,
Martin vMix
