Hello everyone,
My question may have come up before except I did not see it when I did a search.
Please point me to the post or webpage or video that has this answer if it already come up.
So here is the question,
Can you run 2 versions of vMix on the same machine?
I am working on doing tutorials / shows using the free version of vMix to show people what it can do.
I don't want to have 2 machines for this.
Although that would be cool too to show what machine I am using for it.

You can run multiple instance of vMix on same PC.
1) Goto settings.
2) Select Options
3) Select show advanced setting.
4) Select Check Box for Enable Multiple Instances
5) Select OK
6) Select Restart vMix to apply changes..
Then you can run multiple instances of vMix...

Thanks ask.
I am not trying to run it twice.
I am trying to run 2 different versions.
Basic and 4k to show what you can do for free.
Will this work for that?

Then you can run multiple instances of vMix... This is not recommended. It is only meant for troubleshooting and not for production use, as it will mess up audio and cause other issues. RichShumaker, I think you can change the license type as you wish, and in that way switch from one version to another. I think it is possible to have two identical versions of vMix installed, in two separate folders. You specify the folders during install. I know that this is indeed possible with different versions, for instance vMix 19 and vMix 20 as I have just done that. And I think it should be possible with the same versions as well, but you should try it out. The same for the license, I'm not sure if the license specified on the first install will be applied on the second install. In that case you might have to revert to simply switching license manually.

Thank you very much for your help.
I was able to find out from vMix support that you go into the software and change the license key.
You can not run 2 version of different types at the same time.
So if I want the Basic HD then that is all I can have running on that PC.
Or at least that is the way I understood it.
