Hi there!
I hope this question hasn't been asked before, I checked it quickly but couldn't see any result.
Anyway which is, in your opinion, the best way to stream pictures from my android tablet gallery to vmix?
I found ndi or rtmp cameras app that work just fine with the live feed of the camera, so my first guess is a streaming app that would stream my gallery to vmix... any hint?

Thanks in advance :-)

Andrea

Use a chromecast that is connected into a HDMI capture card. Simplest and easiest solution.

A while ago I wrote this up. I've used two approaches:

1 - With an android device that doesn't have HDMI output, but does support USB-on-the-go and MHL or SlipPort, use an MHL or SlimPort adapter to gain an HDMI output. It's HDCP limited, so split the signal, feeding one side to a monitor (or headless plug) and the other to a capture device.

2 - For an Android device that does have HDMI output (like my nVidia Shield K1) simply use the splitter trick, routing one output to the capture device.

In either case, the capture device will need to support 1080p60. Some older ones don't.
