A tickbox or button to pause update of data in Data sources. This could be for each tab and/or option to pause all data updating checking

I have noticed when Vmix idle I have been using a lot of 4g data as Data sources is checking every few seconds of external data eg xml
for changes that most of the time has not changed but still using data.

Pausing the data update check before the broadcast stops using data when not necessary. Normally setup +3 hours before event to allow for testing
and setup. So once setup I can pause data sources then enable again when we go live and start streaming, this could also have a shortcut to start stop
data sources with a trigger for example.

                +1
This is a pretty important feature in my eyes, being able to control whether a datasource is active or not.

+1and a humble suggestion to consider adjusting this topic/request to "Button and shortcut to change Data Source Update frequency". That is,

A button, right of Playlist: left-click turns all Data source updates on/off, right-click presents tickboxes for each indivudal data source on/off.
Shortcut SetDataSourceUpdate (in ms, 0 means do not update)

My wild guess is that the Shortcut is easier to implement, and provides a decent workaround for the eventual button.

I am doing a huge show that I am using google sheets to update class list and results. I did over 11 hours yesterday and kept getting either timed out or too many requests from Google. I have tried to raise and lower my refresh rate to not have this happen, but it just won't work. So I have to go in and lower it when I want to refresh and raise it when I don't need it to refresh. If we just had a simple refresh button option or a shortcut that I can program a key to update data sources, I think that would be best, or have it where it does the automatic refresh as the other option. So instead of a pause, I suggest a manual or automatic mode for refresh. |

Now done with this event, and problem seemed to be when I wanted to show results as they were being read out. So at that point I needed them to update about every 5 seconds. All other times I didn't need it so often, so I could have it update every 50 sec by just adding zero to rate. If we had could create a shortcut to update instead of going into and manually changing, that would help out right now. |

Look to the DataSource Window.Down left you have a Button "Loop". You can switch on or off, that your source at the end (last Data) jumps to the begin.

That's what I could imagine: a button with which you can stop updating the data source. Controllable by mouse click in this window, by trigger function and by hotkey function.
I'm not a real good programmer, but is that hard to implement?
