Hello,
i've been using the decklink duo 2 for quite some time without any problems, suddenly the card stopped working with all of my 80m cables, only works with the 5m cables. when i use other capture devices as the atomos shogun etc. the long cables work fine, these are 3G-SDI cables..

Any Ideas why this happens? I really get input in vMix using the short cables, changed it to the longer ones and the signal is gone. Using BM HDMI to SDI Converters..

Any help would help since the card does work somehow?

Best
Felix

What the camera output resolutions my 100m cables with 1080i or 1080p resolutions not works, with 720p resolutions works fine. Try to set the output resolution on the converter to 720, i think thats works.

Felix,
What model BMD HDMI to HDSDI converters are you using? What devices are on the other end of the HDMI to HD-SDI converters? If they are cameras running on batteries the HDMI output may be below spec. and not able to handshake with the converters. I would suspect that the signal level either into or out of the converters is not strong enough for the capture card to lock onto. It could be higher resistance in the cables just enough to inhibit the lower signal level from the converters to pass. Have the cables been exposed to the enviroment, like moisture, rain or snow at any time?
