Last year we provided camera images for the big screen, this year we were back for capturing images for tv, livestreams on the website, Facebook lives and youtube on Pukkelpop, one of the biggest music festivals in Europe, with almost 200 000 attendees. We broadcasted from the boiler room, the second biggest stage after the mainstage, with a capacity of 20 000 partygoers.

We used the same setup as on Tomorrowland (still need to make a post about that festival too, waiting for some pics..): 4 x sony a6000 dslr's, 4x legria mini x action cams. We also used a zhyun crane on stage and a small portable camera rig. Vmix was used to send the signal towards the big OB trucks on site, which were covering the other stages. NDI was used to get the signal of one camera into vmix, which was placed 300 meters away from our booth.

We had a crew of 8 people, and made sure we were broadcasting 16 hours a day from 12.00 till 4.00.

Some footage is already online on their website, most of the content still needs to be cleared though.

A good example: http://vod.pukkelpop.be/...age=nl&mediaId=36653

For our crew this is almost the end of a busy summer, where we worked on more than 20 festivals. Next week we still have a gig at camping Kitschclub, a medium sized festival in Belgium, and to end the summer, we will probably go on a cruise for a few days on the Mediterranean sea.
