Hi all,

I remember viewing a Vmix video tutorial where it was explained how to mute microphone audio and turn on microphone audio with a trigger.

Specifically here is my specific scenario:

1) I start my pre-show with just an image. I don't want to hear my own microphone before I am officially live. So I want all audio off.

2) I start my opeining pre-recorded video. During this I only want to hear the video audio and not my own microphone. I want to keep my my microphone (and any other microphone that might be inputted MUTE).

3) When the video is over I want my microphone Unmutted. (or Live).


4) When my live show is finished I want my microphone Mutted and only the video audio live.

Again I know I saw how to turn on and off the presenter's microphone using a trigger do this in one of the tutorials -- but I can't seem to track it down.

I've tried different ways to do this, but none are working.

Thanks for either a link to that video or just telling me what to look for in the trigger section or each input.

What you want is certainly possible, what exactly have you tried?
You need to set the Trigger on the appropriate Active Input.

On your opening graphic you can use the Trigger:
OnTransitionIN : AudioOff : Your specific Microphone Input

On your Opening video:
OnCompletion : AudioOn : Your specific Microphone Input

On your Closing video:
OnTransitionIN : AudioOff : Your specific Microphone Input

Hope that gives you what you want.
