I am interested in using the vMix Social addon for select Periscope chats to show up on the stream.

I have not seen a "Periscope" option. Is it possible to use IRC to accomplish?

I don't believe that's possible as Periscope chat is not based on the IRC protocol. The only option I can think of is some form of screen capturing, but that wouldn't show a specific comment.
