I followed these instruction to the "T" and it's worked several times before. And for what ever reason the "Main Vmix Pc" will not register to the "SKYPE PC" What Do I need to do for it to start working again?

Here are the instructions that I followed.

1. Main vMix PC

Install vMix 17 or later and configure the following settings:

a) Settings -> External Output: Tick the Audio Outputs and Recording / External / Output options for NDI, these are what we will sent to the Skype computer.
b) Settings -> Audio Outputs: Set the "A" bus to "Enabled" or "NDI" to enable it

3. Connecting both PCs together

Skype PC:

1. Go to Add Input -> NDI and add the "vMix Output" source from the Main vMix PC
2. From the Audio Mixer in vMix drag the volume fader for this input down to 0 to mute it
3. Go to Add Input -> NDI and add the "vMix Audio - A" from the Main vMix PC
4. Make sure the audio for this input is on by checking the Audio button is green

Main vMix PC:

1. Go to Add Input -> NDI and add the "Display 1" input from the Skype PC vMix Desktop Capture
2. From the Audio Mixer, turn on the "A" button for all audio sources you wish to send back to the caller, this should be all audio sources except for the "Display 1" input you just added.

Hi

apart from this
Quote:
2. From the Audio Mixer in vMix drag the volume fader for this input down to 0 to mute it
that I don't understand, this seems to be a correct workflow.

If you'd indicated what's not working, it'd be easier to help...

I stated that the Main Vmix PC does will not connect to the Skype PC... when I add the input from the Main Vmix PC the display is a black screen & the Vmix audio does Not have sound.

How are the 2 computers connected? By ethernet cable or with Wifi?

What are the specs of your Skype PC?

Can you capture the remote computer's desktop in vMix?
Can you play vMix NDI output on the Skype PC with Newtek NDIMonitor?

I use an ethernet cable

I don't use the Newtek NDI Monitor... I use the Vmix Desktop capture

Both PC's are connected properly, the problem now... for some reason the "Skype PC" is not receiving the "Vmix PC" Input like it use to, for at least a few months I have been receiving Skype calls during my Live shows, so I know I am connecting everything according to Vmix written instructions.

I suggested you indicate your skype computer specs, like CPU, motherboard, RAM and so on. Most NDI issues are hardware related.

Also I suggested you to make 2 tests:

- Can you capture the remote computer's desktop in vMix?
- Can you play vMix NDI output on the Skype PC with Newtek NDIMonitor?

in order to find if Skype is the only not working application on this computer, and find out if this computer is able to receive and play NDI feeds FROM vMix.

@ GoGo

In addition to Guillaume's tests, I would ask what has changed since you last were able to do this?
Perhaps a Windows, Skype or vMix update?
Has something changed in your network settings or config?

That's what I am saying, the NDI feeds from the VMIX will not show up. The the only reason I was talking about Skype because it was the only other reference I could give to paint a picture. Skype is not the problem.

These two applications don't do the same thing.

NDI Monitor displays NDI video on a computer. You should have this application on every computer that you use with NDI (I'd install the entire NDI Tools suite on every system).

vMix Desktop capture, creates a NDI stream of your computer desktop and makes it available to other NDI applications. The NewTek equivalent is NDI Scan Converter.
