========================
How can i do my expect, Thank you. Fully detail belowThis is my workflow detail.I hope you understand, i use google translate and polish some word by myself. Please advice me. My device- 2 camcorders - 2 capture card - 1 PC We have 2 classrooms and a camcorder in each room. Camcorder hanging from the ceiling to fix the zoom and focus. The camcorder will operate when the wall switch is turned on. What we want- Video files with logos or other elements. - Save the file to the computer so that the teacher can copy the file to NAS storage itself(if they want). - Room#1 and Room#2 must be able to start recording or stop recording at different times different files. What i have to do- Set up the system to automate the most. What i did- New web interface [vMix web API] for teachers to start record video from their mobile.(picture below) - Auto start all necessary program. What do teachers need to do to record video (for now, it will change immediately if it has better way) - Turn on the computer - Turn the wall switch on. Power supply to camcorder - Load preset [web interface] and make sure the indicator turn green. - Press record button [web interface] and make sure the indicator turn red. - Press stop recording [web interface] We have no cameraman. We have no editor. this is new web interface [img][/img] Thanks you. atomgun attached the following image(s): 2017_07_03_234547_001.png (70kb) downloaded 0 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Hi
it depends on which licence you have. You could do it easily with versions having Multicorder or using External2 out.
You can also do it with NDI sending each cam to external recorders like other vMix or OBS.
But the easiest solution is certainly to use SD cards in your camcorders + a litlle post-production to add your logo.

Guillaume Hi Guillaume, I have to try using External2 output with NDI to other vmix instance (same PC), Did I get you right? I will try it. The record to SD card solution is my last choice because I need to reduce post-production process. my organization is a small education institute, we have no person for post process job. Thank you for advice. i will try and talk back. Likhit.

You don't compulsarily need a second instance of vMix. You can use VLC, FFMPEG or OBS too. You don't have to compulsarily use NDI... External2 out brings a virtual device with vMix output that you can use with non-NDI capable softwares. NDI, as its name states, is a solution for network video transport when multiple machines are involved in the workflow.

@ atomgun
Perhaps if you elaborate a little bit more on your needs and workflow (what exactly are you trying to accomplish), you may get some better solutions and/or advice on the best way to do that or if in fact vMix is even the right tool for that... Although some things might be "do-able" with vMix, there might be "better" ways to accomplish your goals. Just my thoughts.
