I was going to do a show covering the NBA Draft but I had to go out of state. I couldn't bring my computer with. (Desktop) Now a bunch of crazy stuff is happening surrounding trades and I would really like to do a show. Any ideas for how I could do a show? I was going to use vmix call to bring in some guests. I have a laptop but it's a Mac. The draft will be about 3 hrs.

I don't have anyone back home who can do it as I just moved and barely know anyone.

Thanks for any ideas.

So you need someone to help you with a remote production? I bet one of the World of Live Streaming guys might be up for it. Visit their Facebook page and ask.

Good luck!

Someone is using Chrome remote desktop with big success while other people are using Team Viewer.

I think it's important that you check you internet connection, don't have a firewall problem, ...

Test, test, test :-)

@Potimus

If your Mac can run Windows & vMix, then install a 2nd copy of vMix on it. Per the vMix FAQ:

http://www.vmix.com/knowledgeba...lled-on-more-than-one-pc

Quote:
Each license can be installed on up to two PCs or Laptops in total as long as vMix is not being used on both at the same time. To install your license on to the second machine, enter the key as normal and follow the instructions in the error message when prompted.

Then you can do your NBA show with vMix Call.

If your Mac isn't capable of running Windows programs, then you can try using Zoom (zoom.us) for the show. You could pay for one month since the you want a 3 hour show (beyond the 40 minute free limit on multi-guest meetings.

Or as Tom Sinclair suggested, find someone to produce the show for you with vMix. Them having 4K or Pro editions would be helpful. I assume you have no access to someone running your desktop unit, so you can do what rudyengles suggested.
