Using vMix Call as a roaming pit camera for our presenters. Pretty heavy graphics. Check it out.

Fantastic job, looks like espn ,what was that camera in the field,? Was it a cable cam or a drone? It was a nice shot...if it was a drone ,why couldn't you follow the bikes on the track?

@ TrentisN
Awesome job Trent! I am most curious to know how you managed the updates to the ticker as well as what you used in your vMixCall Set-up, the shot(s) were very stable and well framed? Keep up the great work.

In Australia there is some pretty strict rules with flying them so they're not allowed to go over any tracks (like go karting, cars, bikes) and also not allowed to go over the general public. So we just had roughly a 50m long box coned off so we could track with the bikes a bit as they went passed. IceStream wrote:Awesome job Trent! The ticker was driven by a Google Spreadsheet. Someone else on the race organizers end had that set up so we're just grabbing all the info on that. Had to set up my own cell for it though that referenced all the data I needed so it could be in one ticker line. So it looked something like - (="Category 1"&E3&"First Place - "&F3) But with a ridiculous amount of cell references and quotes. And there was an update button on the spreadsheet that would bring all the times and laps up to date but we could only do it every 5mins or it would crash the spreadsheet with too many requests. And with the VmixCall we had a Galaxy S7 mounted to a light stand with a mic splitter so we could have a hand held mic going into the phone. Had a USB battery stuck to the phone so it stayed charged all day and had an app that completely locks the screen and buttons so the Call cant be accidentally stopped.
