I recently purchased an upgrade to the 4k version so that I could use the Multicorder. I am running Vmix on a laptop with a TB3 connection to a Sonit expansion chasis loaded with a Blackmagic Decklink Duo. The cameras appear just fine in Vmix. However, when I go to the multicorder and attempt to enable MPEG-2 TS recording and click START, I get an error that says "Codec Not Supported. Try different output format under settings, Performance. MC_OK. VE_NEWA No combination of intermeidate filters could be found to make the connection."

I have checked my input settings and everything appears to be OK. I have also disabled the audio for these cameras. When I try another codec such as AVI or MP4, it does start but I get many dropped frames and high cpu utilization.

I can use the regular recorder with MPEG2 perfectly fine as well. I just can't use MPEG2-TS in the multicorder with my Decklink inputs.

When I use a webcam, the multicorder works just fine.

What can I try?

Update: After doing some more testing, I discovered that I can get multicorder to work if I change my cameras and decklink card over to 1080i 59.94. I had been using 720p before this. However, I now also see that multicorder is recording at 1920x1080 when my session is set to 720p. This means that one multicorder channel consumes 10-15 percent more cpu than the session recorder which is properly recording at 720p. Perhaps this is a bug with multicorder?

This issue was fixed with the release of 19.54. Thanks vMix!
