hi,

if you have a lot of free disc space you can use lagarith lossless.
if doesn`t, you can use mpeg2-ts.

note that the quality of your final result depends on the quality of recording. make the possible to use uncompressed codecs, like lagarith lossless for exemple, to improve quality in your productions.
