I would like to be able to make ISO recordings from several independent audio sources that are not associated with any camera (video) inputs. Basically, I would like to turn vMix into a multi-track audio recorder during my shoots. Recording as a WAV or MP3 files is fine with me. Would this feature be easily added?

In a nutshell, this feature would allow me to use a multi-audio ASIO device for talent audio and be able to record each mic independently. Basically a multi-track recorder. I would like to see if I can use the noise gate capability within vMix to create an automatic mic mixer to help eliminate audio bleed and room reverberation into the other open mic channels. High-end field mixers have this capability called Dugan Automix. But most of these mixers run very high in price (over $3K). I would love to be able to use a Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD ASIO device to bring the audio into vMix, setup a noise gate level for each mic input to help eliminate audio bleed over from the other mic'd talent on set, but at the same time, record each audio source independently so I could re-work each mic source mix in post if I need to.

Is anything happening with this feature request? It is a shame that a setup like recording a camera and audio separately does not work with the multicorder.
