Four cams, three in the crew, and of course vMix. Live on YouTube and two Facebook pages.

EDIT: The artists Facebook stream, and Huawei mobile Sweden's.

@ richardgatarski

Very nicely done Richard.
Was this a "WeStreamU" production/colaboration or just a project you were involved with?
I was also curious to know if you used any kind of 'talk back' communication with the cameramen or were they simply given assignments that made it easy to cut between manned and unmanned cameras?

Thanks Ice!

It was, on a short notice, a WestreamU production when it comes to the video and streaming part. That is, the artist decided a few days ago that he wanted it to be live streamed as a courtesy to all the fans that could not get tickets. We just did our best to produce something (not a big budget, but OK).

We used a Eartec Ultralite system for our crew. Before the concert our producer discussed with the bands producer some of the basics regarding the rundown, and how I (cameraman on stage) could move around. During the concert we were on our own.

Hi Richard

good job!
4 cams? was it a technical limitation or a deliberate choice?
The stage cameraman was on wireless transmission I presume? Which device?

Well done
Guillaume

Merci Guillaume!¨
Budget for two cams, so we threw in two extra (pretty boring otherwise).

Wireless was Nyrius Aries Pro on a modded gimbal with a G30.

Argh! Too bad! I was thinking 6 cams would have been great for a 7 people band but I understand that generosity has some limits! ;o)

Looks great! Have you ever used multiple of the Nyrius units at the same time? What's the maximum range you've used before it breaks up?

Thanks, yes we have tried but two Nyriuses doesn't work well together.
Range is very dependant on the conditions (WiFi "pollution", people crowding, etc), but typically between 15 and 25 meters.
