Cool set-up, thanks for sharing! I'm curious about your choice of CPU and Motherboard though, can you elaborate on what kind of performance you are getting (vMix and overall CPU % use etc.)? Are you Recording and/or Streaming from this PC?

Ice Thanks. Yeah i know that this is a bit downsized than the requirments for four cameras. I'm Recording, but not all the time. Only the programm and sketches of a wedding or anniversary. Maybe i'm streaming once. But it is actually not requierd. The next days i'll do some testing and show you the results of performance.

Very cool, thanks for sharing your setup. I was searching the forum to see if I could use a gifted GoPro Hero5 camera with my new vMix setup. It looks like I can. It would be my third camera in my studio so I'm thinking about making it my "dog cam". Ha! I also have the AKAI APC Mini, but I haven't set it up yet.

Hi @all,
now i got some references. I know you had some concerns about the i3 with the performance, and you're right with it.
Last weekend i tried to use MultiCorder with 5 to 6 Cameras on the same time. And i got many findings from my setup. I was using 5 SDI Inputs (4 Camcorder and 1 GoPro5Black) and 1 Webcam. All together on my vMix PC worked fine, till i started to use Multicorder.
5 Cams MultiCorder: not really useable (nearly 100% both) 4 Cams MultiCorder: worked fine, but sometimes laggy (between 85% and 95%) 3 Cams MultiCorder: no problems (max 90%)
Every time i connected my webcam(s) to vMix (overLAN) the usage increased from 20% to nearly 50%. To use the MultiCorder with the webcams is possible, but depends on how much SDI inputs i'm recording at the same time. The table above includes SDI Inputs and webcam Cams.
To use an i3 with MultiCorder and Record (or Stream) at the same time, is not possible. The PC is laggy all the time both activated.
My summary: till i started to use the MultiCorder with an Intel i3 everything worked well (with 5 SDI inputs, 2 Webcams and many videos and pictures). But with this (for me) importent function, i've to upgrade to an Intel i7.
In the beginning of November I have the next event. Then I can share my knowledge with an Intel i7 with you.
