Is there any way to turn off the Mic & Playback speed showing on the output screen?

I need to know ASAP if there is a way to disable or turn off the microphone and replay speed indicator that shows up on the lower right hand side of the screen
of the output window.

Please provide a screenshot, I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

Perhaps you are referring to the "Input" screen (not the "Output Window", which most people would consider to be the "Program Screen").
Any Input with an Audio component has the option to show the Audio Meter next to it.
This can be activated or deactivated with a tic box in Settings->Audio->"Show Audio Meter next to Inputs".
Video Inputs have the option to Show or Hide the Playback Speed Slider.
This option is accessed by Right Clicking the Input which brings up the pop-up window where you can select the "Show/Hide PlayBack Speed" to toggle ON or OFF.
