Hi, I've been using and have a few HDMI Encoders I have bought, https://www.aliexpress.c...14.40010208.4.144.qEkJ49

Currently there doesn't seem to be support in vMix for the audio this encoder produces, so I have to create a work around using VLC and converting to NDI which then allows me to use the audio within my production.

It would be great if the vMix stream option could support the audio feed that is coming direct from these box's because the VLC/NDI method is proving to be fairly unreliable.

These box's are not expensive, work perfectly and I believe quite a few people are using them at current.

I hope this can be considered as a new feature soon :)

We use several similar boxes with VERY good results. Not that one in particular. Are you using the RTSP stream? That will be your best choice.

Audio must be AAC, is that an option in your box?

As far as I am aware the rtsp stream this box produces uses AAC for the audio but vmix just doesn't recognise it.

I've tried every setting I can find for working this out and had no luck
