Hi all

Since I setup WIN10 pro on all our PC's in UEFI mode and in "German" language, I had every second or third startup problems with NDI. The NDI signals are not recognised. When I started the NDI Monitor app, there are also no inputs available. I never restart the router. After a restart from one of the PC's the problem was sometimes solved. Sometimes I tried to restart the network card, disabled firewall functions etc with no results. When the NDI is running, it runs over hours or so long the PC would be restart.

It's like a ghost inside our business :-)

I had also a problem few weeks ago with a other software manufacturer who also use professional video gear like BMD videocards and this problem was solved with install the OS in english. Maybe it could be the problem?

All our systems are build up with Intel i5 or i7 processors. Nvidia graphic cards and enough of RAM. (16-32GB)
All network cables are cat5.e or above.
Router:
Ubnt Edge Router X SFP

Switch in flight case:
Ubnt Edge Switch Light 48

On all systems are the newest OS, vMix and NDI Tools installed.

Maybe somewhere have had the same issues, maybe not ;)

Thank you in advance for your help.

Jan

Hi Jan

Check your network adapter location. To have NDI discovery working, the location has to be set to private.

Patrick
