good morning,
I purchased an IP dome dahua model sd 59225U.
Although I can take the signal for RTSP, I would like to know if anyone knows how I can configure the PTZ function from vmix, since I can not connect it to the camera and I must control the movements with its software. I would like to control everything from the vmix.

Thank you.

Yes, for RTSP I connect it perfectly, but I'm interested to know if I could use the PTZ function.

@ Panchor

Is it safe to assume you've tried all the available "Device Type" options in the PTZ Input Settings dropdown?

http://www.vmix.com/know.../97/ptz-controls-in-vmix

I am not familiar with any of the PTZ protocals or if they are proprietary but would suspect either the Panasonic CGI or SONY CGI options might work...
Other than that, what does the device offer for support for external controllers?

Yes, I used all the vmix options, and I did not succeed.
My doubt is in case I have to put some port or other thing in options.
But good will continue with the external controller.
My idea was to have everything integrated.
Thank you very much for the help.

the documentation states :

vMix currently supports the following types of PTZ cameras:

- PTZ Optics cameras and and other cameras that support the VISCA over UDP protocol such as ValueHD.
- Panasonic PTZ cameras that support CGI control over Ethernet including the AW-HE40, 50, 60, 65, 70, 120 and 130 series
- Sony PTZ cameras that support CGI control other Ethernet including the SRG-300 series.

It is important to note that for simplicity and ease of use, only PTZ cameras that support network control are supported.
Cameras that only have serial control such as via the VISCA or Pelco RS-422 or RS-232 protocols are not currently supported.

I note also that PTZ control via USB is only partly supported with the Logitech ConferenceCams. Using a CC3000e ConferenceCam (or PTZ Pro) I have PT control, but no Z, from the manual PTZ controls in vMix.
