According to the Teradek website:

"Teradek encoders are also integrated with vMix. No plugin is required for automatic, low latency, high definition ingest over WiFi and from bonded connections using Teradek's Sputnik server."

So I'm guessing the plugins are for those other softwares that don't have the capability built in like vMix does...

We use several Teradek devices. vMix works with all of them, including Sputnik, out of the box.
