Would be nice, but if you zoom in at the "NDI" it looks like a bad photoshop session...

@ DWAM

Where do you find this stuff?
Perhaps this an pre-NAB leak or just wishful thinking on someone's part...
I can't seem to find any info on it or an announcement.
(and as Richard states about being photo shopped, why would it require two Ethernet ports, which actually look more like phone jacks to me?)

In the Streaming Idiots facebook group! I should have been more suspicious, it's pretty sure it is a bad happy April fool's day joke. Even the timing is wrong!

Too good to be true! What a pity!

Not enough physical space at that location on a Canon XA35 to add to Ethernet jacks to make an "XA45"

So an Ethernet port is about 16mm x 2 = 32

The HDMI port is about the same (rough measurment)

Deeper body maybe.

Someone must've Photoshopped the image, perhaps for offer a proof-of-concept to the manufacturer.

All of the Canon XA series use HDMI mini jacks, not full size HDMI Type A.

It would be great if Canon would/could do it. But it would take a new camera body to do it, not simply adding Ethernet ports to the existing body of an XA25/XA35.

And I would think Canon would consider it more for the higher priced XF line that has a larger body to start with.

Yeah, All the JVC models that I have used Full Size HDMI which is good and I that run to the Field Monitor and SDI for output to Vmix
And the pic above was a joke from a few months ago.
