Often I have to stream over the 4G network. For this I use either a mifi dongle or an iPhone hotspot. Is it possible to add another iPhone as wireless camera (with the NewTek NDI app installed) over 4G? In my tests, when all my devices are connected to the same hotspot, the NDI device isn't found, however it's found without any problem on normal fixed broadband network with router.

Hi!

It could work if you were using a regular hotspot.
Mifi dongles as well as Internet sharing function on smartphones do not provide full network functionality such as Local Network Discovery. Besides they are very basic hotspots and can't handle enough bandwidth for NDI (which requires a lot).

Thanks Guillaume, that's useful to know.
