Starting a stream, in this case a standard Facebook stream, will freeze an NDI source (Display1).
Stopping the stream will resume the NDI connection, like there never was a problem.
I am able to reproduce this simply by starting a stream, and "fixing" the problem by stopping the stream is also consistent.
Not even closing and adding the NDI source helps, the stream needs to be stopped.
- ASUS 15.6" ROG Strix GL502VM running vMix 19.0.0.42 x64 trial. - Lenovo B51 running vMIx Desktop Capture for NDI 19.0.0.3.
NDI running over very solid wifi.
Anyone tried this?

Have you tried to explicitly launch vMix with the dedicated graphics card?
Right click at the program shortcut in explorer and select the Nvidia graphics card under "Run with graphics processor".

??? Does this really exist ? Which type of Wifi are you using? 2.4? Use 5Ghz AP preferably. You need at least 802.11n or 802.11ac, preferably with MIMO technology I'm pretty sure this is the reason why it freezes as soon as you stream. Plug both computers to a switch and tell us if it still freezes

Does it happen if you use a wired Gigabit Ethernet connection? NDI can work over WiFi, but I would highly (HIGHLY!) recommend not using WiFi if you have any other way to connect devices. My guess is that you are pushing WiFi to the limits with NDI and when you stream you push it just that little bit more and there is no longer enough bandwidth. If NDI doesn't have enough bandwidth a video frame freeze can be the result. Kane Peterson NewTek

The vMix computer is still running on wifi for this test. All steps: - Wire the computer vMIx Desktop Capture - Close vMix Desktop Capture for NDI - Reopen it - On the vMix computer (still on wifi), right click the NDI input and select the current source again, in this case Display1 This fixes the problem. DWAM, it is a 802.11ac router and the two computers (running vMix and Desktop Capture) are the only clients. With both machines on wifi I tried to lower the stream quality to a negligible 500 Kbps, but the issue is persistent regardless of bitrate.

Hey Stigaard, I don't have that option when right-clicking. vMix is showing however, that the GTX 1060 is in use (settings > performance).
