Rank: Newbie Groups: Registered Joined: 4/4/2017(UTC) Posts: 9 Location: United States Thanks: 3 times		What "tick" am I missing when setting up a ticker that will allow the text to connect front to back. currently the text will go across the screen but will not start over until the last of the text has scrolled off the screen. this leaves a large blank void following the text as it scrolls across.

This way you can wait till the line is almost filled before showing it and as it loops, viewers still have the time to read.

Then a solution is to copy and paste the text multiple times in the text area so that this undesired effect is less visible.

Such things were traditionally the domain of dedicated CG systems. So, buy a license to Chyron's Lyric software. Use that to create the ticker, bringing it into vMix via NDI. Not cheap. But works every time. Also affords the opportunity to dynamically update the ticker from live data.
