@ mrjoe
I can only assume you want to do this with one button, yes? For best results, you should first open the "Settings" window of the Input in question (cog wheel->Position) and adjust the sliders for the "Main" screen to the position you desire and take note of the numbers in each box and finally select "Reset All" to return to Fullscreen. Next, set-up your MIDI Shortcut (Find button) and choose your "Input", select "SetPanX" for the Function and set the Value to the number you noted from above for Pan X. Next, clone the button two more times. On the first clone, select "Edit" and change to "SetPanY" and set the Value to the number you noted above for Pan Y. Finally, for the second clone, select "Edit" and change to "SetZoom" and set the Value to the number noted above for Zoom. "Ok" out and you should be good to go, when you press the button, you should immediately see the Input at the coordinates you selected. (you may want to set-up a second key to return the Input to Normal, same procedure with Values of 0). Hope that answers your question.

AFAIK, that wont work with simple "Shortcuts" in vMix as they reference specific values for the coordinates. You may have to use a script of some sort to apply the variables required to achieve a motion digital video effect with a fader, which I am afraid is beyond my 'expertise'. The closest approximation I can think of is to create a virtual copy of your Input and position it for the "after shot" and use the "Merge" transition, which you can then apply to the vMix Fader (right click top Transition Button with dropdown menu) and maybe map that to your MIDI controller fader (again slightly beyond my knowledge base, I don't have a MIDI device with faders, but perhaps someone else can chime in).
