This has been a difficult bug to reproduce, but it happens with enough regularity that it is extremely frustrating when it happens.

Sometimes, when I add, rearrange, or remove an input from my setup, a shortcut key input will change. For example, let's say i have 3 inputs all set up: Input A, Input B, and Input C. If I have the "F1" button set to Fade in Input A in 500ms, sometimes if I add a new Input D, or delete Input B, or move Input B to be after Input C, then the F1 shortcut will change itself to use Input C for no apparent reason. I have seen this happen in cases where the order of both inputs has not changed at all, and times where it affects one shortcut that uses Input A but not another. It's infuriating to have you shortcuts changed out from under you. I had several gaffs in my broadcast tonight when I used a delay to save a clip, and when the clip added itself to my input list, one of my shortcuts changed input, and I would hit that shortcut to switch inputs and it would throw up something entirely different.

It has been a bug that is extremely difficult to predictably reproduce, but it seems to happen with enough regularity that I feel like I have to check my shortcuts every time an input changes to make sure they are OK.

I have had similar issues with shortcut keys reverting back to previous preset inputs during a program...
What I have done to work around it is to remove the shortcut key and then add it again when I need to make an edit.

Hi,

I haven't seen this issue in testing (have you tried the latest vMix 9 release?)
I would suggest trying different combinations of actions until you can consistently re-create the issue.

It's important to point out that when you select an input to assign to a shortcut, that "link" is only valid for as long as that input remains open.
Removing the input will disconnect the link to the shortcut, even if you add it again later.

Regards,

Martin

The problem is present in vMix 9. I'll try to find a way to reproduce it.
