Vmix stopped working when clicking on Recording Config "Cog"

When clicking on the config (Cog) button next to record I get VMIX stopped working error. I upgraded to latest version, same problem. I restarted computer, still same problem. Can you guys assist - as I'm about to record a broadcast - and can't until this is fixed!!!! Regards, Ranz

Thanks - I did a search of the knowledgebase and it didn't show any results. Is the search broken?
Also: Important Note: The file copied above should be deleted once Microsoft releases an update to prevent potential conflicts
how will we be notified this?

Hi,
Please read the top of the article. The fix is now on windows update, so the fix mentioned below that should no longer be used as checking for updated on windows update will fix it.
