Hi,

Ive tried to find it but to no avail.
I would like a remote text update for titles. Like the one Xsplit has where you can specify the remote url and the <tags> that it will use.
It would really help me out when parsing information to xml files.

Have a look at the API information here:

http://www.vmix.com.au/help8/DeveloperAPI.html

Any of the vMix shortcut commands (including "SetText") can be used with this API.

Thanks for the reply and Ive seen that. However, according to the help file, it seems its backwards. I have to call the function instead of vMix.
I would like that vMix calls the remote url for information and fetches it by itself.

@akerlind
Based on what would vMix have to update the text?

After being guided myself towards the API in this forum I must say that its is in fact pretty powerful and flexible towards one's purpose of using this be it automatic or manual.
Being able to use a wide variety of sources for update and languages to do it with is a big plus. Still evaluating and experimenting myself but its giving me some good ideas to combine event judging and video display

I would like to have vMix base it on duration of time, in seconds or even milliseconds.
Like after X seconds it will fetch it again.

See your point especially in case the data has been updated outside one's own control.
