Having just purchased the BMD Hyperdeck Mini I am finding its Fill and Key outputs to be very useful.

My use case for Vmix is as a media/graphics server to my BMD ATEM ME2 and I want to use Vmix as an NDI gateway to the ME2 as well as use vMix Title as a scoreboard for my productions. However I don't want to use chromakey from vMix I want a proper Fill and Key signal from its two outputs.

Is this possible?

And pushing the boat out..... if we had 4 outputs configurable as two Fill and key outputs I'd be very happy. At the moment I have a 4K License but if this was only available on the Pro version I'd be happy to pay the extra for these features.

Previous forum post (not in the Feature Request though)

But still +1

And for Martin/Admin; no, CasparCG does not take NDI input and can therefore not produce a Key + Fill from a vMix NDI Signal like NewTek NDI Connect or Sienna SDI Outlet does and the beforementioned applications have some downsides as well;

NDI Connect pro; 1000$ Price tag, must be run on a separate PC (NDI self detect is disabled)
Sienna NDI Outlet; Runs on a mac (which obviously means you cannot run it on the vMix PC)

We are all out of options here!

I'm not sure what 'NDI self detect is disabled' means. I can run NDI Connect Pro on a system and on the same system use a tool like NDI Monitor see the output.

I'd still recommend running it on a separate computer, the application is going to use GPU and CPU resources, sharing the resource load between systems is one of the advantages of NDI workflows.

Yes, but we want the other way around. I can't make NDI Connect find a local vMix NDI feed and output it as key and fill through a decklink card.

System resources is not an issue as we're running high end both CPUs and GPUs, the only thing we don't want is to run it on two separate systems.

Yes, this is expected so that you don't have to see your own NDI outputs when selecting inputs.

There is currently no way to change this, but I can see a potential use case if multiple applications are running on the same system.

Sorry, missed that they wanted the other way around, output key and fill. NDI Connect Pro doesn't do it in that direction (in our product line, this is done with the TriCaster itself).

NDI Connect PRO can do Alpha NDI to Key and Fill, it just cannot find a NDI Signal coming from the same PC...

From the original posting of this it's not just about NDI. It's about Vmix itself having a Fill and Key output to hardware switchers for Vmix Titler/Vmix Social without having to use chromakey.

With Vmix social you inevitably have pictures or logos with the chromakey colour within them - which just doesn't work!

Yes, acting as an NDI Gateway to a Decklink card would also be a very helpful result of having fill and key outputs but it's not the primary aim.
