Greeting. I wanted to buy Blackmagic Design DeckLink Quad 2 but after the bad reviews that the card breaks and does not work properly I gave up on it. I decided to buy a Blackmagic DeckLink Duo 2. I now that I have finally solved this problem, I come across a man who says Blackmagic DeckLink Duo 2 does not support 1080p 50 ??? Does anyone have this card and whether the benefits of this resolution. Although the box and specification says that it supports, and the man says he does not support the truth ??? Please help me in the decision. It's an emergency.

Do you have that card because I know it says on the box, but the question is whether it really supports these 1080p 50?

Oh my God, this is a really lame, amateur, outsider video. Terrible.

Firts: decklink duo has 4 bidirectional connection, not 5. The 5th connector is the reference signal input.
Second: 1080p50 and 1080p60 also supported. Trust me.

I'm sure about one thing: I will not buy any PTZoptics gear...

Yes I do.
We may have problems supporting 1080p50 when using cheap HDMI2SDI converters or bad cables. But the card is great!

Thank you my friend. If so, and you believe that the day might be, and slept. I was hesitant to buy a quad 2 or 2 duo is cheaper and if working with 4 inputs being a waste of money. Thank you once again.

BMD HDMI2SDI converters work just fine for 1080p50.
Cheap chinese converters do not work.

Check this page to learn how to choose the correct ones.
