For fun I thought why not use vMix to 'record' "Streaming Idiots" and do a mini show inside a show.
It worked and allowed me to overlay the chat window on the show and add my CPU GPU usage as an overlay.
Also I put a clock up to record lag, only problem is my clock was broken(wrong time) so the latency was wrong.

It was a NEATO experiment and it worked, go me, go vMix, go Tom Sinclair.
I am sure I could have streamed it if I wanted.
Instagram Image I took from the Video I made, https://www.instagram.co...w/?taken-by=richshumaker

That last part the I could have streamed it led me to today.
Today I watched the LIVE Blackmagic Design press conference.
A few minutes / hours later people on YouTube are 'reporting' on it.

BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE.
You could do a live press conference coverage using vMix.
Have 1 or more people covering the event, live & virtually.
They could be at home and use vCall or they could be live in studio.
You could also have live replays if you wanted of the event.
APPLE JUST ANNOUNCED A WATCH and we have a replay.

Anyway I thought I would bring up this weird topic both as a "Wow that is possible!!!".
Also does anyone currently do something like this?

Thanks in advance for checking out my WEIRD TOPIC today.

Great job Rich!
Actually, similar shows are not uncommon. For example This Week in Tech do that quite frequently. Most recently for Samsung's Mobile World Congress Press Event.

I did something like that back in 2011, called it "Meta casting". My recording is available and documented (in Swedish). I knew the guys who did the "original" cast, and they actually mentioned (and watched) my show while doing their own show (which lasted for 24 hours, no sleep for them, I metacasted for half an hour only).

Thanks for the compliment and for Meta Casting term as that is very helpful for me.
