when you open the vmixcall window on the host side and have several vmixcalls ready the red boxes at the top only show the passcodes. so its hard to know which input you have assigned to which guest. maybe have it also show the name of the input in that box as that can be renamed to something easy to follow

And might I add two things.

First, a checkbox setting "Use caller supplied Name"

Second, if the Input's name is manually changed in the Input's setting - use that name (unless "Use caller supplied Name" is checked)

The Call Manager shows the number and the caller's name already when they are connected:

Isn't really room for a custom title name as well which can get pretty long....

Long numbers (password as is) are very difficult to remember, and challenging for the producer when mentally mapping numbers to callers. Trust me, I managed a phone conference with 12 participants the other day, no way I could have used their phone numbers only.

Regarding room for information, how about if the Call Manager's red/green plates where something like (text in paranthesis here only for explanation):

--¨
Ready 0987654321
Martin Sinclair (operator defined input name)
-
Streaming Idiot 1234567890 (caller defined name)
Tom Sinclair (operator defined input name)
--

It would be up to the operator to make sure manually renamed Input names are not too long. And they, as well as the caller defined names, would be truncated if they are too long to fit in the platters.

My hunch is that the operator needs to decide how the callers are identified. But I am open to that perhaps the name as entered by the caller is better for chat purposes. That's why the check box setting, which would renamed both the Input name as well as the name in the Call manager.
