Audio issue with av.io 4k capture device

Hello,
I'm completely new to Vmix and just started the trial.
I have a new Epiphan 4k video USB encoder. I am also using a Sony A7 with a Rode Video Mic Pro.
I have added a new input in Vmix for both Video and Audio using the Epihan. The video works perfectly fine.
The audio works right off the bat and then just dies after about 15 sec. The only way I can get it to come back is by restarting Vmix.
Is there something I am doing wrong?
Thanks!

What happens when it dies after 15 seconds? Error message? lockup? meters change from green?
If you go to Add Input/Audio Input, is the Epiphan 4K listed as an audio source?

If you go to Add Input/Audio Input, is the Epiphan 4K listed as an audio source? No Error message, no lockup. Green input meter's just dissapear. Yes after I go to the Input/Audio the Epiphan 4k is still listed as the source. My camera still shows input on the mic on the back of the camera's screen so I know atleast it appears to be getting to the camera.

When you initially add the Sony A7 as a camera, what options are you choosing on the Camera Input screen for:
Audio Input?
Audio Device?
Audio Format?

Hi!
What happens to audio if you don't use the Rode but built-in microphone instead?

Hey thanks for the replies. Here is what I am selecting to get the camera video and audio input. https://drive.google.com...NnI0OEk/view?usp=sharingI tried with just the camera's internal mic and the same thing happened. Video continues to work fine but audio has vanished. Will try with another camera to see if the same thing happens.

Yes it's a good idea to test this card with another source.
Also try another HDMI cable...
Can you plug the A7s directly in a TV set or any other HDMI monitoring device (with audio support) without the USB3 card to see what happens?
I use the A7s too, never issued something like that...

Well I tried with my D800 and the same thing is happening. Audio stays on for abit and then just drops out.
I also plugged the camera directly into an hdmi tv and audio and video work fine with no drop outs.
In windows 10 I directly monitored the audio input from the av.io and it seems fine. After audio dissapears from vmix I am no longer able to monitor audio in the windows recording tab without unplugging my av.io. I assume vmix has taken control of this resource and broken it somehow.
I opened a stream from the av.io in vlc and the video and audio are solid.

Thanks for your help. I have also tried with this dedicated usb device connected to the av.io https://www.startech.com...nnels-4-Port~PEXUSB3S44VStill the same problem. Would anyone from vmix care to comment or help please? Unless I have some weird system incompatibility all my research leads to a problem with vmix and the av.io 4k

Martin from vMix will certainly see your post soon but you can also contact vmix support by email and give all details. There is also a "send support report" button in the "about" tab of settings in vMix This is a users forum not the support platform.

Yes will do. This has obviously turned into a hardware issue. Wasn't sure what to expect when I started with this. I just got a Logitech Brio and it seems to hold the audio stream just fine.
