Hi,

I have problem with capturing another computer screen by NDI desctop capture.
It works well with old desctop capture, but when I upgrated vmix to 18, this just doesn't work.
I spent few days trying to make it works, but it does not.
What can I do?
Here are screens shows how it looks:

When I turn on vmix in transmission computer, then on other computer NDI is turning off.

Turning NDI on transmission computer, and vmix on the other, it shows this (on transmission computer):

Then vmix on the other computer is turning off too:

Hi!

Difficult to know with polish error messages, but the only message I understand seems to indicate there is a problem with audio on the computer. I would check if everything's ok with soundcard.

Sorry, can't be sure...

Thanks for Your response.
This errors in Polish, means just that application (NDI) has failed.

so I decided to stay with vMix 16, but another problem is that my Skype can't take external from vmix 16.
Is there some skype version, whitch could work with vmix 16?

Many thanks.

You must use Skype for Desktop, not the Windows 10 pre-installed Skype version.

And do not forget to activate EXTERNAL out...

Thanks, but tehre is some problem.
Skype always see vmix external, but when I make a call, then "camera" in skype is turning off.
It happens only with vmix 16. In vmix 18 external out works great with skype, but then problem is not working NDI desctop capture, wchich I must to have to capture screen from another computer.

To use NDI desktop capture, check to make sure Windows 7 has the latest updates and service packs.
The error message in the screenshot has been seen on really old Windows 7 installs that do not have SP1.

If it is all up to date can you confirm the CPU installed? (Type msinfo32 into start menu and press enter to find out)
