I'd like to see the ability to copy or duplicate an existing Multi View so that I can swap out one input in it quickly when setting up a new vMix project/live stream.

I host and produce the show myself so to go into setting and replacing an input in a multi view (and then adjust and resize it to fit), while doing it live - doesn't really work well for me. So I need to pre-plan most shorts.

If I could simply duplicate an existing Multi View shot, I could ahead of time replace the one or two inputs that I would need without going through the tedious steps to reproducing the exact same multi view that I've already set up, just to replace one of the inputs with a new clip or new camera input.

I find myself often wanting to use the Multi View input - with the same settings / position and scale adjustments - but just want to replace one input.

Thank you.

Hi!

As Doggy said, you can use the "create virtual input" feature to duplicate your multiview...

BTW I suggest you read this post and maybe give it a +1 as this feature request would be a nice improvement to be able to send any cam easily in a multiview (without needing to create multiple multiviews)

Ragnvald,
Not sure about your use case, please describe further if you need something that is not already available.

In addition to what doggy and Guillaume suggested, you also have the shortcut SetMultiViewOverlay that can be used to easily change the source for a Multiview layer.
