Was thinking this has been asked before, but couldn't find anything. And maybe there's a way to do this I'm not aware of but . . .

I could use an option to exclude an input from the external output. I'm thinking telestrator here. And a telestrator for sports announcers.

I'd like the announcers to see a feed of the output (minus the telestrator). They use NDI (for example the NDI telestrator) to bring in the vMix External, and draw on it. On the vMix machine you bring the telestrator back in as an NDI input.

If you try this using the NDI telestrator you get a loop (slightly misaligned) and you see double what you're drawing on the output.

I would think it would work if you can send the main output minus that input.

?

Hi Brian

Please check and +1 this feature request that could solve your issue

http://forums.vmix.com/d....aspx?g=posts&t=8622

It wouldn't be automatic (PGM-1) but it would allow you to exclude an input from the external2 output.
