Hello all,
I have everything set up with vMix 18, but the audio is not working without a terrible echo and feedback. This is occurring when just using my webcam and also happens when I use the loopback with the NDI desktop capture to grab audio from the computer output. When I say feedback I mean an obvious echo with loud noises from feedback. I have tried everything at this point - and these function work perfectly in Open Broadcast Software (OBS), so I am not sure what to do.
Please let me know what steps I should take because I really want to move forward with vMix!

The Webcam is picking up the audio from your speakers creating the feedback most likely. Are you using headphones?
If you are using a laptop and a separate USB webcam, make sure the built-in webcam on your laptop isn't active as an audio source.
