I want to bring up an old topic again, see here http://forums.vmix.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=5670It is regarding the "magnifier lens" which we desperately wanted for vMix15 and 17 already. And when reading Martin's comment last year (an intriguing idea) I really thought it was close to come. But unfortunately it fell off the table as it seems. So may be there is a chance to update vMix18 with this feature or at least add it to vMix19. For those who do not want to go back to the old topic, here is a rough description: Quote:In some sports (like ice hockey) it is very useful to have a magnifying lens. After pressing the lens button you mark an individual rectangle in preview (or even in output) window and this rectangle becomes full-screen or at least doubles or triples its size. With this magnifier you can clarify tricky situations (did the puck/ball cross the line) very easy and enhance the quality of sports production to a very professional level. You can "highlight" certain details for people watching the game on TV or internet stream like fouls, close referee decisions and so on. Would be great for halftime analysis, too. And this was Martin's comment: Quote:This is an intriguing idea!
So I have it correct, would the following work:
1. Hold down some configured key on the keyboard 2. Mouse cursor changes allowing you to hold down the mouse button to draw a red rectangle on top of the Program Output window in vMix. 3. Release the mouse button and vMix will zoom in to show just the area covered by the rectangle. 4. Press some other key to zoom out again. So hopefully this topic will be back on the table again and we will see a magnifier lens soon. Regards Karsten
