I don't know if this has been requested but I would like to see the ability to capture any area on local desktop (same system that Vmix is running) from any display 1,2... Once this option has been activated a simple click and drag the mouse over area of interest with maintain aspect or not.

Some more suggestions to vMix:
- Swap Fields function checkbox to Input -> Capture.
- Chroma upsample filter checkbox to Input -> Capture that would improve DV/HDV-footage for Chroma Key usage.
- Adjustable Feather-function to Chroma key.
- Luma Curve to Input -> Capture
- Color wheel to Input -> Capture
- vMix should automatically try all available capture inputs and resolutions. User should still have the possibility to choose them manually. Preview image/video of the selected source to Input -> Capture.
- It would be very handy if it would be possible change the input source/type after input container creation.
Now using vMix version 8.0.0.53
Kind regards, Jan Tervo, Finland

Few more suggestions:
-Ability to choose progressive / interlaced project. Now in 8.0.0.53 all transition effects are rendered as progressive. -Virtual Studio setup util so it would be easy to change virtual set images and other settings too. -Display current- and record duration time in the bottom
Now using vMix version 8.0.0.53
Kind regards, Jan Tervo,

Hi,
One more suggestion ;-) !
By the moment the position control can only be moved by steps of 1 second. Sometimes it is not precise enough (at least half-seconds would be necessary). => Would it be possible to have a way to set a more precise position ? For example one of the following :
* keyboard shortcuts to move one frame forward or backward; * a key combination (Shift or Ctrl or...) to use while moving the position control with the mouse; * an entry field where we could enter the desired position; * the possibility to set values in milliseconds or number of frames with the "SetPosition" API function. ...
Many thanks !
Emmanuel

In Settings vMix should clearly say which settings requires program restart to take effect.

Hi Martin
I am from Jamaica and it's my first time taking to you and i have been using your product since last September.
Some ideas for the new software are:
1. add an audio meter (internally) for the Flash/RTMP section for like sites like YouTube (especially when needed to mix the audio in your recording or stream.)
2. could create an app to be used on phones (like Blackberry and Android) to send video content to vMix and a desktop presenter app for laptops which doesn't have vMix technology. For Ex. a presenter is speaking with his laptop and he is using PowerPoint and you want to mix his presentation in vMix without using a VGA, DVI or HDMI cable and running it to your computer.
3. Creating a control surface or external controller which can be used for persons who like to mix live without using a keyboard and mouse.
4. and when using fade to black, the live screen actually "FADE TO BLACK". 5. add creative transition effects for events like Sports, Church services and others
Thanks for reading and your product is five times better than Vidblaster. Adriankeys4
