hi martin,

it is possible to build a LAN Stream Player aplication that be able to play, over lan in a different computer, the program window of vmix?

the idea is to use it in the reverse way that desktop capture, just to play the output in other different machine. it can be used for:

this feature can help a lot of producers in live productions and it will be very useful for people in the background that needs to know whats happening in the stage.

thank you for your atention, allways looking for the better for vmix,

Melody, you could accomplish it with VLC. Not sure about how much lag there would be.

Hi Melody,

Capturing the vMix window and sending it over the LAN would use a lot of system resources so is probably not a recommended method.
Instead you could split the output you have running to the monitor already using a video splitter and then use a CAT5 converter to run a long
cable run to the second screen.

Regards,
