I have just bought Affinity Photo that is now on Win for $A63, no subscription.
I don't think I need PS anymore, imagine what V3 will be like.

The macros will be interesting for sequential video frames.

Like vMix, it's a trailblazer -

Check out the inpainting function -

I was a beta tester and now I have the production version. Adobe PS is bye bye.

Really makes you wonder if photos (or videos for that matter) will ever be considered "credible" or "reliable" representations of "reality" in the future, considering the technological advancements of undetectable and virtually flawless edits at such an affordable price point...

It's getting very clever now. I get a bit sick of things being edited and graded to death, probably why
I still like the honesty of `live' and the serendipity that can result.

I wish vMix had an add mix composite mode.

I haven't used Adobe for years, PaintShop Pro has 95% of the features, is more user friendly, and a fraction of the cost.

Running PS express, but recently purchased Affinity Designer. Haven't determined how much I can do in Affinity over PSE yet, but have created my System overview in Affinity I posted recently. I'm finding it usable!

Much ado about nothing. Is it a bright marketing strategy "Farwell Photoshop" or "Photoshop killer"? As for me, it's a bad idea to become famous by offending competitors.
What's so special about this photo editing software? Lot of them have the same set of photo effects, don't they? Check this one, for example, https://macphun.com/luminar/photo-effects. I think, it can be a decent alternative too but without tricky promotions.
