Hi Guys, I have vMix installed on two machines and on one the Title Templates run fine. On the other machine (i7 Win 8.1) I get this message when I try to load any template, any ideas? I've tried copying the Arial ttf from the working machine and using it to overwrite the font in the non working machine but with no joy. |

well, the error message says "arialtbg.ttf", is that the name of the file you "overwrote".
I don't think you can simply copy a font file (e.g. ttf) and overwrite it. You need to uninstall the font in Windows control panel (Fonts) and then add the font in the control panel.

Thanks for the reply Richard. That's what I did, copied the ttf from my other machine and installed it (not drop in the file folder) on the problem machine with no change :( |

Hi. NHT, When I install a font on my Windows machine I click on the font file -- and, if it already exists, Windows promipts me that ithe font exists and do I want to override it. So I think your problem is perhaps a corrupt font? Maybe see this link. link Snippet from above link:
".....turns out ..that vlc tries to open or uses 'Arial.TTF' .(windows fonts) ...and in my case somehow the file/font got renamed to 'Arialtbg.ttf' ..hmmmmmmmn ...anyway downloaded the 'Arial.TTF' font and popped it into: C:\WINDOWS\Fonts ...and now it works" -------------------------- Could it be the font you want is just regular Arial? Arial.ttf And that Arialbg.tff is a corrupt version of Arial? Rowby |

Hi Rowby thanks for the reply.
I've tried over writing Aerial with no luck.

It's been suggested the whole folder may be corrupt and I delete and reinstall from another machine.

This of course is like asking Windows to delete itself and reinstall itself.

 :(
