I think I have tracked down the answer to this already, but I am hoping that maybe someone has a life saver tip. I did a 4 hour Facebook live stream over the weekend and my main "program" recorder died and corrupted the file, so I am left with nothing. I was using the "Continuous Stream" option, which as it turns out was my problem number 2. From what I have read when using "Continuous Stream" facebook does not archive your stream, so far the former live link just says that it will be available soon. Has anyone had any luck recovering a "Continuous Stream" archive?

Sorry, I'm almost 100% sure that there's no way of getting the stream from facebook. I did a 13 hour stream on facebook and haven't found a way to do it.

I think you'll possibly have more luck in saving your broken recorded version. Can you open it in VLC or handbrake? If so then there's a chance of saving it. A pro tip for future streams is to have vMix create a new file ever 10 min for example. That way you'll only lose no more than 10 minutes.

i had a simiular issue when the MP4 file corrupted on me in January this year. I actually found that Grau GmbH video repair fixed the file for me. give it a download and see if it works. the free version will only do 50% of the video but it should be enough to see if it will work for you.
