When configuring a camera, for example a webcam, one needs to interact with the camera's properties dialog box (invoked by clicking on the button in the advanced tab of the input's configuration dialog).

However, when in the vmix configuration dialog box, launching the camera properties dialog freezes the image that is in the configuration dialog box.
The output, preview and input window continue to have live video. It's a bit of a pain to have to keep moving the config dialog out of the way to display the live items.

Can the config dialog box be configured to continue to show live video when interacting with the camera's properties? This would make it consistent with the other config settings like chromakey, position, etc.

Thanks.

@ AlanZ

I have experienced this behavior before as well, but am currently not able to reproduce the "screen freeze" of which you speak and wonder if it is a setting (that I can't find) or version of vMix or simply a factor of GPU and/or CPU resources being used...
Perhaps a response from vMix Support can clarify, but in the meantime, what are the specs of your GPU/CPU and version of vMix.
I am running the latest release vMix 18.0.0.58 on an NVidia GeForce GTX 670 .

This happens consistently for me using webcams.
The same happens with the Windows UVC camera driver (for a c930e camera or Magewell HDMI->USB3 dongle) as well as a Logitech driver (C920 camera)

This is happening on all of my computers, laptop or desktop.

The machine I am on right now is a Windows 10 desktop i7-6700, 16GB ram, GeForce GTX 745
My machines have 18.0.0.58 (but I have always seen this behavior, since I started using vMix, back in v16)
