For some recording sessions I want to use a VGA frame grabber. I prefer the build in desktop capture, but I am not always in a position to run the desktop capture program on the computer or laptop of my clients. This way I can just split the VGA output to the beamer and record it.
So I want to use a VGA2USB frame grabber. I use the Epiphan VGA2USB. When connecting I get a non-fatal error:
INPUT_CAPTURE.INPUT_CAPTURE The specified property ID is not supported for the specified property set.
I think it has something to do with the frame rate or maybe an other type of mismatch (PAL ?). Nothing critical I can use the VGA grabber as a video capture input. Refresh rate is about 5 or 6 frames per second interlaced. That's good enough for powerpoint slides and simple animations.
If there is a preferred or alternative method for connecting this kind of device, Please let me know.
greetings Stefan

Hi Stefan,
Please click Send Error Report when you receive this error so I can investigate further.
